Infrared vs. Traditional
Infrared saunas are very different than traditional saunas. Infrared saunas are referred to as “dry saunas” because they do not just heat the air, like a steam room. Infrared light heats the body from within, which causes a deep, detoxifying sweat, without having the uncomfortable heat and difficulty breathing of a steam room.
What is Infrared Light?
Infrared light is the natural radiant heat from the sun. This is the light that is used to warm premature babies! SquareOne is blessed to have two Sunlighten™ Infrared Saunas in our facility which emit more infrared light at a lower surface temperature to provide optimal comfort and effectiveness!
Health Benefits of Infrared
Detox:
Many toxins take up residence in our fat cells, liver, and brain tissue. The body’s most natural form of detox is to sweat. But surface sweat, and deep sweat are different. Infrared generates a sweat 7x more detoxifying than a traditional sauna to uproot these toxins.
Weight Loss:
Remember those belly bands that were supposed to heat up your core temperature while you worked out to burn more fat? Well, what if you could heat up your core temperature for that extra calorie burning boost without a belly band or an intense workout? Studies have shown that 30 minutes in an infrared sauna can burn up to 600 calories.
Heart Health:
Are you wanting to get off all your blood pressure medications? The Sunlighten™ Solocarbon® heaters have been clinically proven to reduce both systolic and diastolic blood pressure. What have you got to lose giving it a shot?
Pain Relief:
Arthritis and other chronic pain is considered HRP (Heat Responsive Pain), which means that these conditions can be treated with heat therapy. When the infrared light gently begins to heat these tissues, it increases blood flow to these areas. Researchers have found huge benefits from the use of infrared heat therapy in treating back, neck and arthritis pain.
Skin Rejuvenation:
Infrared saunas are naturally anti-aging! Studies show that the sauna reduces wrinkles, improves overall skin tone, including softness, smoothness, and firmness. The sauna even comes with an anti-aging setting for maximum results! In addition, many people are vitamin D deficient and don’t even know it! Vitamin D is not only a building block in your immune system, but it is essential for bone, teeth, and skin health as well as reducing your risk of cancer! The infrared sauna boosts your Vitamin D levels naturally!
Final Thoughts:
