We believe that successful, long-term weight loss must contain a nutrional component (what type of foods to choose), portion control, support and accountabilty, and an exercise program.
In our program you will meet three times per week in our facility with a personal trainer who will guide your group through an exercise routine.
As part of your group meetings, you will learn about nutrition guidelines, what type of things you can do on your own to learn to make healthy food choices and portion control.

AlterG anti-gravity treadmill

Studies have shown that using the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill allows individuals to exercise who couldn’t otherwise do so. At AlterG, our focus is to provide technology that promotes mobility to best meet the needs of each client. Potential benefits of using the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill for weight loss are:
  - regain mobility and function to carry out daily
  activities
  - Improve balance
  - Build strength and endurance
  - Improve cardiovascular health
  - Shed pounds without strain on joints and
  surrounding tissues

Our approach to weight loss

The foundation of our approach is support and accountability in the context of a small group of four women and one of our trained weight loss coaches.
Support is critical for long term weight loss in order to maintain focus and receive encouragement during periods when pounds are harder to come off.
Accountability is what helps individuals be open and transparent about their struggles in the journey of losing weight.

Balancing Calories
  ● Enjoy your food, but eat less.
  ● Avoid oversized portions.
 
  Foods to Increase
  ● Make half your plate fruits and
  vegetables.
  ● Make at least half your grains whole
  grains.
  ● Switch to fat-free or low-fat (1%) milk.
 
  Foods to Reduce
  ● Compare sodium in foods like soup,
  bread, and frozen meals ― and choose
  the foods with lower numbers.
  ● Drink water instead of sugary drinks.
