| John is a 1982 graduate of the University of Texas of San Antonio. John is a board certified orthopedic specialist with over 25 year’s experience. He has been a consultant to DeRoyal Corporation with custom patents for foot and ankle products. He speakes a couple of times a year at the department of Biomechanics at The University Of Tennessee. John is also a consultant to: The University of Tennessee Sports Medicine, Fellowship program, Knoxville Track Club, Knoxville City Ballet. | Connie has 10 years of experience with Aaron Mattes, Active Isolated Stretching & Strengthening. She was trained by Aaron Mattes in Sarasota, FL. She is active with AIS educational programs nationwide working as a teaching assistant. She also has 10 years with The National Academy of Sports Medicine, as a personal trainer. | Matt is a graduate from the Belmont University Doctorate of Physical Therapy program in Nashville, TN. He is also a Certified Athletic Trainer and has had a variety of affiliations including one with the Tennessee Titans Football Organization. Matt specializes in sports medicine and orthopedics. He also enjoys participating in medical mission trips as a physical therapist. Prior to joining our staff this fall, Matt worked at the Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, TN. | Christine is a 2007 graduate of The Center of Rehabilitation Education Therapeutic Massage program. She is certified through the state of Tennessee, license #6741. Christine’s strengths include myofascial and structural integration, along with sports massage. Christine is also a certified Clinical Hypnotist specializing in pain management and behavior modification. | Sarita graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2010 with her BA of Science in Psychology. She has been working in the therapy/exercise field for over 6 years as a certified trainer. | In 2009, Caity received her bachelor’s of Health Science from Lee University. This was preceded with an associates of Sports Medicine from Middle Georgia College in 2007. Caity has specialized in personal training and leads varied health education programs for youth and adults. She is currently developing skills in AIS, therapeutic modalities, manual therapy and studying to become an ACE-certified Advanced Health & Fitness Specialist. | Aaron graduated in 2009 from Lee University with his bachelors of Health Science. While there, he worked alongside PH.D’s to develop and implement wellness programs in the local community and elementary schools. He is now developing his skills in AIS and therapeutic exercise while also studying at the University of Tennessee to obtain his masters in Exercise Physiology. | Heidi received a BA in Kinesiology and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (through NSCA) and also as an Exercise Specialist by the C.H.E.K. Institute. She has specialized training in injury evaluation and treatment, sports psychology, and stress management. |
Josh graduated from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga with a degree in Exercise Science. He is currently working on a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of Tennesse Knoxville. He specializes in AIS (active isolated stretching) and therapy exercises.
