The Anti-Gravity treadmill (AlterG) assists with restoring lower extremity range of motion and normalizing gait mechanics.
It also provides orthopedic rehabilitation for injuries involving the lower back, hips, knees, and ankle joints.
The advantage of the AlterG is its ability to allow you to be mobile at a fraction of your body weight. In so doing, the therapist can dial in exactly where the pain stops and movement feels good again; thus, allowing the patient the opportunity to increase the rate of muscle conditioning and decrease total recovery time.
